Whenever i want to change MAC address of my computer for testing purpose, then i do simple getmac command to get current mac of my PC. Since i can’t copy output of getmac command i have type mac address in notepad manually.
But there is trick using which you can copy output of command to clipboard. To copy output of command simply append pipe (|) operator and clip command after the command. this will copy output of command you have performed to clipboard, that you can paste on any text editor.
You can perform same action by right clicking anywhere in cmd and select MARk option from context and select required text and then press enter after that paste it anywhere. This trick work for Windows xp because clip command not work in Windows Xp.
