Today when I was working on my Windows 8 computer, my computer DVD drive disappeared. - Go to Metro screen mode by pressing Windows Key and search CMD and then right click over Command Prompt and click Run as Administrator option to Run with Administrator privileges.
- Paste following command in CMD and press enter to execute. and you can see “The command completed successfully.”
reg.exe add "HKLMSystemCurrentControlSetServicesatapiController0" /f /v EnumDevice1 /t REG_DWORD /d 0x00000001
